Q: I forgot my username/ password or my username / password doesn’t work.
A: Click the “Forgot your password?” link in the “Login” block which can be found on the right side of the homepage. This link can also be found on the login page as “Forgotten your username or password?” Either enter your username or email address and click the search button. An email will be sent to your email address, with instructions on how to get access again. (NB some email systems will flag such email as ‘Junk” or “Spam”. Please check in these folders if an email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes.) If you are still having trouble logging in, please contact the Helpdesk.
Q: I tried to reset my password link but no email arrived
A: Make sure to check your spam or junk folder. Otherwise, please contact the Helpdesk.
Q: Reset password link in the sent email doesn’t work
A: The reset link that is generated contains a string of random characters to create a unique key. If the final character is a punctuation mark (such as a period or comma) then many email programs that automatically generate clickable hyperlinks from URLs in the email will ignore this last character in the link. If the link doesn’t work, cut and paste all of the text from the link into the browser’s address bar. NB copy everything up to the next space. Make sure to include any final punctuation even though it doesn’t look to be part of the link. Otherwise, please contact the Helpdesk.
Q: Course no longer shows up in the My Courses list
A: Generally once you complete the course you are automatically un-enrolled and the course no longer appears in your course list. Alternatively, your enrollment period may have expired. For re-enrollment or an extension of your enrollment period, please contact the Helpdesk.
Q: I just started the course and only see one module
A: You must complete a module before the following module becomes available. To complete the module you must undertake the lessons and answer all the questions asked during the lesson.
Q: I completed a module but don’t see the next one
A: Make sure you have clicked through each lesson and answered all the questions. If this has been completed in full and you are still having difficulty, please contact the Helpdesk.
Q: When does my Enrollment in the course expire?
A: You can see your Enrollment expiration date in the “Enrollment Duration” block which can be found on the right side of the homepage or docked to the left.
Q: I can’t find the Enrollment Duration block (or the Help Desk block, Course List block, Settings block etc.)
A: They may have been collapsed using the Show/Hide toggle button.
